Q: Wat is Lost Trace Mission about?
A: Basically, it’s about a girl called Raven who is adopted by the army. She then appears to be abnormally precocious and is put on a so-called “Lost Trace Mission” when vampires appear to be planning a coup d’état. Raven and her team are to investigate this matter and stop it from happening.
Q: In what kind of world is LTM set?
A: It is not very different from our contemporary world. You can find more information on the world setting on the world setting page.
Q: I’ve just looked at the world setting page and it isn’t very elaborate. How come?
A: Very little of the story has been revealed yet. If I would tell you more of the world setting, certain motives and surprises would already be explained and I’d run out of cliffhangers! D:
The basic rule that applies here is: time will tell.
Q: When do you update?
A: Lost Trace Mission updates once a week on Wednesdays. There is also the occasional week when I update on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. This is when I am repaying my debt for a missed update. You can see how many weeks of triple updates I owe on the homepage.
Q: You say the comic started in 2004, but the first page in the archives dates back from 2005. How come?
A: When I began Lost Trace Mission, I wasn’t using any automated script to upload my pages. I believe it was only in 2006 that I decided I needed some help with maintaining the archive and installed iStrip. This script uses dates to determine the order in which the pages should be displayed. Naturally, I didn’t know the date for every page I uploaded, so I decided to pick a date and pretend as if I had uploaded a page every week before that date. I haven’t always had a schedule of one page per week, so I didn’t have enough pages to fill the archives up all the way back to 2004.
Q: Who are you?
A: I am Rengin Tümer and I was born on 12 September 1990. As of September 2008, I’ll be studying International Game Architecture and Design in Breda (the Netherlands). I am an autodidact regarding drawing comics (that’s what you were looking for, right?)
Q: I like your work. Can I buy it?
A: Yes. There are two ways of supporting me by purchasing my work. You can buy a print from me or you can commission me. More information can be found here.
Q: What is deviantART?
A: DeviantART is an art community, where you can upload your art into a gallery and receive feedback from other users.
Q: Do you have a deviantART account?
A: Yes, I do. It can be found here.
Q: Can we exchange banners?
A: I’d always consider it. Please send me an e-mail at rengint(at)rengintumer(dot)com with your request and include your site address, so I can have a look. If I feel we could help each other out, I’d gladly swap banners.
Q: Can I send you fan-art?
A: Yes, please! You can send your creations to rengint(at)rengintumer(dot)com, and I’ll put them in the fan-art gallery.
